Experience the unique concert series "Concert Spirituel", whose tradition dates back to the 18th century. The Concert Spirituel, "spiritual concert" is the name for one of the first public concert series, which was groundbreaking for the taste of music in Europe. The concerts began in Paris in 1725 and later concert series of the same name took place in Paris, Vienna, London. At the beginning, sacred music and Italian instrumental music, secular cantatas and several symphonies were performed. At the 1280 concerts in the history of the Concert Spirituel, works by around 500 composers, including Georg Philipp Telemann, Joseph Haydn, Francois Devienne, Antonio Salieri, Giovanni Viotti, Jean-Philippe Rameau, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, were performed. The violin virtuoso Mario Hossen, together with the renowned Vienna Chamber Orchestra, creates unforgettable classical moments in the Vienna Minoriten Church with its unique acoustics.
