The pianistic realm has produced two giants of music history, Joseph Haydn and Franz Liszt. Master pianist Kateryna Titova has selected piano concertos by both composers for the opening concert of the new Liszt Festival season: Haydn's joyful and lively D major concerto and Liszt's forward-looking pianistic challenge "Malediction". 

With Grieg's Suite "From Holberg's Time" and Haydn's popular "Farewell Symphony", the two piano concertos are complemented by absolute hits of the classical-romantic repertoire.
